Williams Landing FC
Awarded it's club changer first star

12/08/2023

We are proud to announce that we have been awarded 1 Star Certification as part of the Game Changer Club Development Program. This star represents our commitment to improve the experience of women and girls in Football on and off the field!

We currently have approximately 115 female players at the club from our U7s to U16s as well as 3 Female Coaches, female committee members and volunteers who have played a vital part in growing the girl’s game.

Game Changer is Football Australia’s Club Development Program which aims to protect and enhance our clubs, make them stronger and more resilient, lead them in building welcoming and inclusive cultures, and educate them on positive environments for players, coaches, volunteers, and officials while planning for long term viability and success.

Web site is being updated

Unfortunately our website has been left behind as we grew as a club.

Part of our club changer initiative is to update it and keep the information relevant.

Please bear with us as we work through this process.

A new start for a new season

At the end of the season we would like to thank the long serving committee members that have served the club that will be stepping down and enjoying a well earned break.
President Andrew Papax - who has helped steer the club since 2019

Youth coordinator Chris Van Heer - A man that has dedicated more time, sweat and tears than any other. Chris also came as a package with his wonderful partner Cathy who also worked in the background and who's work has gone by unacknowledged by many.

With these people stepping down we do have a new committee that will be formed at our next AGM for next season. If you are interested and want to find out more about whats involved please click the link to email us

Offering Metro & Masters Divisions

Master’s over 35’s

Over 35s Football is to provide football players in this age group with an opportunity to play local football, predominately on a Friday night in a relaxed, social environment with mates.

Metro 3

Our Metro 3 team had a very successful 2019 winning both the Metro 4 league and the league championship. With promotion to Metro 3 for the 2020 season, we are a strong and ambitious team looking to push ourselves this season and hopefully bring more silverware back to the club.

Metro 8

A team that first started playing together in the 2019 season. It was a slow start to the season but once relationships were formed and the players settled in to the WLFC way, they soon went from strength to strength.

Women’s State League Team

Our newly formed woman’s team for the 2020 season has brought exciting times ahead for WLFC.

We are lucky to have an extremely ambitious and dedicated group of ladies who are looking to put WLFC on the map in Women’s Football.

We have already had some great successes in pre-season, winning the Women’s Chaos 2020 Cup
